Ah, yes. I remember living on those and ramen. Yuck. Thank God I learned to actually cook. I just couldn't go back to Lipton broth and noodles as a "meal".
I'd rather throw some parmesan cheese and cracked pepper on a lamb chop and sear it in a pan for 30 seconds on a side and throw it alongside some asparagus and brown rice. Takes about the same amount of time as nuking pseudo-noodles for 2 minutes. Nothing quite like lambs blood seeping into your rice. Rats! Now I'm hungry.
(And, no, I don't do mint jelly with my lamb. Sue me.)
