I am not a subscriber to the magazine as I have never subscribed to any mag. I do currently pick up one or two linux mags a month and a copy of pcformat. I have yet to see a copy of linux format for sale anywhere. Could someone please tell me where they purchase their magazine.

Are you in the UK? Is there a W H Smiths near you?

There is a W H Smiths just a few minutes drive away where I pick up Linux User and Developer and PC Format each month. I have yet to see a Linux Format there though. But I will try the W H Smith in Maidenhead. Thanks for the heads up

Hi Grim

There is a new scheme for the public to request that their local WHSmith or other newsagent stocks copies of magazines they want. So if your local Smiths doesn't have LXF and you would like it to (or you can't find in Maidenhead), you can place an individual order.

There is a form to hand in to the newsagents in the back of er, Linux Format, but that won't be much help to you if you can't find it in the shops! So you could try asking if WHSmiths has a Just Ask form, and go from there.

Hope this is helpful
