I'd like my status bar to display the time & date like t

I'd like my status bar to display the time & date like this.
Sat 9 Aug 2014 5:2o pm.

At the mo it is displaying like this: Sat 09 Aug 2014 17:20:00 BST

Ubuntu Studio 14.4.1 (basically Xbuntu ie Xfce 4.1o)

I think you right click on it -> Properties -> Format -> Custom, then enter the format you want (%a %d %b %Y %I:%M %p).

For the format codes, check man date. (date can be used with `date +"format")

If you install the xfce4-datetime-plugin you will get even more display options than the clock applet that is available by default, including font used and size.
Xubuntu 16.04 user, and loving it!

Oh yeah, that's the first thing I always do in Xfce. Sort of forgot about it :wink:
