Looking for team to help develop gaming console

Postby ProjectAce » Sat Apr 19, 2014 2:09 am

Hello, I am currently in a three man team. We are currently trying to develop an open source gaming console. The console will run on Linux. We are currently looking for anyone who is interested in joining us in creating the console. Right now all we have are user interface designs, a few documents on how we plan to approach the development, and some early specs for the console. We are looking for team members that are dedicated and are willing to help bring our dreams to a reality. We are looking for writers and programmers. Programmers for the obvious development of the operating system, we are looking for writers for things like this i.e recruiting and documents. And anyone can help, Programmers and writers are just the main people we are looking for. To give you guys a perspective here is what we plan to do. We are looking to create something more different. We want to give gamers the option to either play on controller or on mouse and keyboard(obviously fixed to where there will be no advantages to keyboard and mouse players). We also hope to create two models, one up-gradable one and one standard one. We would like to bring PC and console games to one platform, breaking the boundaries between the two. Not only that we also want to work with all developers and publishers, regardless of if they work only with PC and or console. We plan to bring a more social experience for gamers by expanding and recreating achievements and other aspects of social gaming. Our plans are also to bring new innovative game projects to the game system, with the help of creative developers. We feel with these ideas we can bring something new to the gaming industry. Our main goal right now is to bring in dedicated people who want to hep change the gaming industry. If you think you can help leave a comment down below, and if you have any questions please don't hesitate ask. Thanks for your time.
