That might be necessary to replace an LXF journo by a computer, but the average student in this day and age, and an IT student at that - grammatically correct? Hahaha.

No, all the software needs to be is half a step ahead of the plagiarism-detection algorithm used by the college. And there's a modest story-generating code base out there already.
