How can I Subscribe?

Postby kwacka » Fri Dec 06, 2013 12:35 am

A few years back i regularly subscribed, until i emigrated fom the UK & postal charges became so ridiculous I didn't renew.

I' wanting to subscribe to difgital issues, but facing problems:

1. I have had bad experiences with Zineo, and don't intend to use hem again.
2. Nook - this product is not availble in your country
3. Kindle - 404
4. I don't have any Apple (or Microsoft) products so te istore can't be used.

Anything else I can use?

Linux Format is available on Google Play (choice of £3.99 per issue or £44.99 for a year isn't bad), so if you have an Android device you can use that (you can also read it on your computer). I think you can also get it from the Ubuntu software centre (but I'm running Mint), but a quick search of their web interface only shows up to #174.

Sorry, I missed Google Play off the list.

Where are you? It sounds like a VPN service may be a good investment for you.

Cyprus, and I'm going through a (dedicated) VPN service. Can watch UK TV online but don't know why I'm getting thrown out. Google UK is 'home' page for Google, if I bypass VPN and search for Google I get, suggesting that VPN is working OK.

perhaps google has worked out that you're not in the UK - via your Kindle or Kindle app.
I recall seeing people with devices registered in the UK not able to use US services despite their device being registered there ...
