And out of the latest Linux Magazine I bought a couple of days ago (if I'm allowed to mention a competitor on this site!) fell an HP advertising leaflet proclaiming "HP and Linux - affordable, resilient, high-performance business solutions. For more information, visit www.hp.com/linux".
It's not too unusual, I find, that there is some brief mention of Linux on the box for a piece of hardware, but as has been observed there are no instructions inside the box. The only exception I have come across is for a PCI hardware modem, presumably because it is aimed in large measure at Linux users.
