Comments, suggestions and questions about Linux Format magazine and the coverdiscs

I have searched for a Linux gardening program but the area does not appear to be covered by linux. A tutorial on Gnome development could use this subject as the area for development. As this area is not well covered the code would be of great use in the open source community.
