Up until now, Finland's copyright laws clearly allowed individuals to make copies for personal use. For example, you could copy a music CD for your own use in different places, say your house and car, and so on. But now toeing the EU line, they've just voted in the new tighter law:

I'm all for protecting copyright holders interests - I mean, if you have spent time and money, and you livelyhood depends on, say, record sales then you have the right to that being protected. But this sort of responce, will neither boost sales, nor combat piracy. It will just open the door for big corporations to bully private individuals.
