Another example of the ignorant, never travelled, never lived away from home (from their parents ThatIs), but think they know it all. I noticed this when I went to Uni. (Teesside '91-'95). A lot of people came through clearing, say from the south coast for example and they just couldn't understand why I didn't know that Buckingham was next to Northampton etc. Why would I know this? But it's the same the other way round too. Southener's thinking they could go to Newcastle or Sunderland for a night out, when Newcastle was (and still is, unless I am very much mistaken) 5o miles or so from Middlesbrough, and Sunderland is even further away. I used to have so much fun getting them to call the Teessider's Geordies, or Makams.... why aye man!8P
