I just finished reading the GIMP tutorial on emulating the Hockney style of images. That's when an image is made up of a few images haphazardly lined up.
It got me thinking about Imagemagick and Bash scripting to create a script that will automatically crop out sections of an image and randomly color correct, resize, rotate and position them back into the original image. The random ranges are very tight so that it doesn't go overboard. It also outputs the settings to be manually set if desired.
My script is 90% complete and I will post it when I'm finished, which might be in a month or so. In the mean time it was a fun project to work on and a good way to learn bash scripting and Imagemagick.
