Hi,

I've got some new space on a vm with debian sarge. I've configured php5.0.4 to be the same as work and apt-got all my libraries required.

But I get this when configuring:

Code:

Generating files
updating cache ./config.cache
creating ./config.status
creating php5.spec
creating main/build-defs.h
creating scripts/phpize
creating scripts/php-config
creating sapi/cli/php.1
creating main/php_config.h
main/php_config.h is unchanged
creating main/internal_functions.c
creating main/internal_functions_cli.c

Thank you for using PHP.

However, I dont have a make file! What do I need to install to make it ??

I have installed: automake1.9, cmake, and make - but still no file!

Any ideas ?

I really don't understand why you're doing it this way. Why not just apt-get install php?

Get it from unstable: it's been there for quite a while.
