bootloader problems

Postby 1slipperyfish » Sat Jul 23, 2005 2:05 pm

i have just installed fedora core 1 in preperation for next months mag, it used a grub bootloader and it only seems to have either fedora or dos(windows)
i have mandriva installed which i use as my main o/s which has a lilo bootloader but i cannot seem to configure the grub bootloader to recognise mandriva?
could anyone tell me how i could achieve this as it would be most appreciated
thanks
paul

i put my mandriva disc in the drive and i think the options are install, upgrade
but if you press f1(i think) you get more options from a graphical interface, i typed rescue at the command line then when it loaded i chose restore bootloader(but there where a number of options) and it did :D then when mandriva loaded i reconfigured lilo to incorperate fedora 8)
easy as that :D
