Loading modules at boot time

Postby Emovich » Mon Jul 18, 2005 6:59 pm

I have a mustek 1200ub scanner and am running Mandrive 2005.
The problem is that every I time I boot Linux I have to issue the command
modprobe usb-uhci to get the scanner to be recogised.
Is there a way where I can get this module to load at boot time just like all the others I see come up on the screen when I am booting Linux?

Thanks for in advance for any help.

Try "man modules.conf" but listing your distro's name and version would assist. Many distros have subtle nuences.
