The first time I've seen cain used as a verb. As it can mean a spear or a possesssion, apparently, I don't think jjmac is likely to be either spearing the beer, or merely possessing it, unless he's possessing it internally, of course. :?

The latter of which reminds me of this :)

slippery, i think 'Acceeers' should be Accreees, my mistake (bad). ( Be there or be square slippery, ah, good o'l Zaza --- i guess we must suffer, i suppose  )

hmmmm, but, ok, ... I can't say i'm actually any more clued on the term now than i was before, but then, what the heck, of course, (caining), ... the humidity over this way can be quite tiring at this time of year ... :). The closest i can get to it though, would be the word 'gunning' ... which in .au speak, basically means something like ... enthusiasm, or , enthusiastic. Sometimes (often) it can also mean 'harolding'. That's not quite fair, as it is somewhat local, not really part of the broarder .au thing. But which i'll leave to your imagination anyway. There just isn't the space, or time, to get into a proper discussion on that one at the moment :).

None of which would actually fit. I do like my nice new 19" LG flat screen though, :D. A total hoot too, and nothing to do with santa either, i may (i will) add.

Ahhh yes, we do know this. It has always been one of the great historical dilemmas, has it not ... but as if such a thing has ever stood in the way of the general evolutionary decline.

And also, one of my __very__ favorite role models too,,, none the less

would "caining" be hunting cane toads with an SUV?
The sig between the asterisks is so cool that only REALLY COOL people can even see it!

it is a wiganism(perhaps i should put it in the slang thread?) i think caining actually means to get off your face on drugs rather than alcohol ????

Oh, I just thought you couldn't spell cane. Caning in that sense means hitting something hard, like the bottle or the throttle of your car
