The iRiver H320 is what I found, advancedmp3players.com or was it mp3players.co.uk, whatever. Looks good, unfortunately it's a bit pricey at about the £240 mark.
The X5 20gig model with the long life battery looks the biz, but advancedmp3players want £279 - I don't think that "erindoors" would go for that (won't stop me trying). even though it's a little on the large side (oh and that would only be when they have them in stock!).
Cowon IAUDIO also seem to do a 2 gig flash player that will support oggs, but even thats not cheap (when "they" have it in stock) at £229.
the other one that A-Wing mentions, well I can only find a 256k version of that, but again advancedmp3players also seem to have an updated version of the 512k version at about £100 that supports oggs - so I suspect that I'd have to make do with that.
all this money because I need something to cover "tinitus" caused by industrial exposure (**** employers - roll on the "ambulance chasers"
Thanks for the suggestions all, it's given me something to get my teeth into. Much appreciated.
