Got a new UK passport today.
Bit more dificult to renew than before, have to send a biometric photo, I'll say that again 'cos it sounds good biometric!! 3 page .pdf on the embassy website with instructions on what they require.
But what's bothering me is on the page after the biometric photo there's something that looks like an RFID chip, is this for real? Do I need to go and buy lots of protective tinfoil? Will I be GPS tracked for the rest of my life? |

Fortunately I'm mobile free
But if they look like black helicopters, sound like black helicopters then they probably are black helicopters. |

eek! I am amazed that the mobile enforcement squad hasn't called on you.
My daughter is TV free, but she keeps getting threatening letters from the TVLA, seems TV is compulsory in this country, so why not mobile phones?
Think there's a reward for reporting offenders? _________________ The sig between the asterisks is so cool that only REALLY COOL people can even see it!

My daughter has fought off the TV licence/tax people and steadfastly refuses to countenance a mobile phone although her partner has to have one for his job _________________ still looking for that door into summer |

Why not use them then? Especially the passport _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |

From past posts on the PCPlus forums, some of us are all too aware of 1sf (troll)'s sojourns in foreign lands, sadly he keeps coming back.
I might point out that we tax-payers subsidise his holidays as he is a government employee (no I'm not referring to his supposed second career as a spy). Can't we just club together to buy him a one-way ticket? _________________ Bye, Rhakios |
