Hmm, IIRC it is the survival of the fittest argument. Alcohol does indeed kill brain cells but, like lions hunting wildebeest, it will kill off the oldest, slowest and least fit first; these brain cells being slower and less fit normally slow down your other brain cells, so getting rid of them improves the overall functioning of the brain and makes you cleverer.
Needless to say, this needs to be re-rendered in Cliffian for any comic effect. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

Can someone delete the fish's superfluous posts (if only to wipe the smug grin off his face). You can delete this as well if you like. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

When nelz multiposted, he did so without repeating an entire pointless screed, it was in the flow of the comments and moderatley amusing. Meanwhile 1sf (troll), your post(s) did not meet any of these criteria _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

Moderately! MODERATELY! I'll bloody moderate you!
Actually, my main aim was to provide a moment of nostalgia for those that remember the old site _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |

Ah yes, the race to 1000 posts and more ersatz kudos, I remember it well.
Hmm, I just noticed Konqueror did not pick up on my misspelling moderately. So, I'll try it again: moderatley. I wonder if it considers it to be a run together word mode rat ley? Ho hum. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

I was thinking more of the "how many times can I hit Submit before my post appears" feature
It picks it up here, as did I when reading it; but I'm not feeling particularly pedantic today _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |

Once> go back> refresh IIRC

I know, but most people seemed to prefer the "bash the Submit button until something happens" followed by "I swear I only pressed it once" approach

I do, so it ust be down to a difference between our dictionaries. Which spell checker do you use? _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |
