i have a "friend" who was using pclinux live but didn't install it but forgot to take note of the passwords for root and guest then installed the mandriva distro(mistake nowhere near as good)
is there any way to reset the passwords if you go into console login?
thanks for your time

Hi
To log in as Guest click on Guest in the login manager, then type guest in the password space.
Good Luck.

You can of course change both passwords if you install it! _________________
