That's a fine photo, Towy, but a Beamer? Doesn't that rather belie the sandals and hippy image of Linux?
It reminds me of the days when registration numbers were of the form X123ABC. It was the N year and P was coming up. I thought to apply to DVLA for the <P155 OFF> number. But then I thought, no, some knuckle-headed passerby wouldn't get the joke, take it personally and key the car (or worse). And anyway, doesn't the DVLA have some po-faced section that sifts through all the number-letter combinations for potentially rude ones? |

Bit ironic advertising Linux on a car powered by Windows.

Yeah but we shouldn't pick on that poor, disempowered megacorperation should we. They only want a secure network, how else would they achieve it. Certainly wouldn't use Windows would they.

What I don't get. Didn't they buy a license from them who must not be named. If they already own a corperate unix license then why aren't they using that instead of Linux. It doesn't make sense to use a competitors OS when an alternative is available.

Because they've found out it doesn't do the job, and Linux does ?
