Postby Guest » Sun May 08, 2005 10:19 pm

When running sh ./install.sh as root i get the following error

cp: cannot overwrite non-directory `/etc/init.d' with directory `./install/etc/init.d'

Checking to see whether prerequisite tools are installed...
FAILED check_brctl
FAILED check_twisted
Checks failed. See /home/daz/xen-2.0-install/check/.chkinstall for details.

where do i get the brctl and twisted from?????

little confused did not see detail install instructions etc.. maybe i missed something..

Dude thanks for the manuals but were you able to solve the problem???

The issue is that Mandrake links /etc/init.d to /etc/rc.d/init.d. This is not a directory and i cannot find a hit in the manuals.
Also Mandrake is the distro that Xen packed with...

If someone has an idea on how to solve this pls let us know.

Thanks in advance
