OK well I decided that after a year of messing around in OS X it was time to return to linux as I just got donated a nice AthlonXP 1800, 2 x 80GB drives, 2 x CDROMS and a new Geforce 6200 card, popped in 768MB RAM and installed ubuntu 5.10. Had a little trouble setting up the Nvidia drivers (1.0-8178), but they are all there now but there are 2 things I can't get sorted.
The one that bugs me the most is that glxgears runs fine and dandy from terminal no problem but it doesn't output any frame rates, have I missed something? Any help would be much appreciated.  |
