I wanna set up a root filesystem that is encrypted.
I am running slackware 10.
I installed dm-setup and I can encrypt drives just fine. BUT there is no /etc/crypttab on my system :< so I cant encrypt my root cause I need that.
So where does /etc/crypttab come from , and does anyone have any pointers or guides as to how to encrypt my root fs.
Thanks |

don't you mean /etc/cryptotab?
you just need an entry like:
/dev/loop1 /dev/hda1 /crypt ext3 aes noatime
AFAIR - long time since I used slack now |
