|
|
I need to be able to change file and directory permisions on a Linux web server, using an FTP client on a Windows 98 box - hence this is a Windows question.
WS FTP Pro is pay-for.
I have been using CoreFTP, which is supposed to do this but that bit of the Help has not been writtemn yet and I can't figure it from scratch.
Does anybody know a free FTP client that does this, or how to do it in Core FTP? _________________ Cheers,

I use SmartFTP.
To change permissions, right click on the folder/file and select properties. You can also chmod the same way. |

Thanks folks. FileZilla needs 32-bit Windows, so I'll try Smart FTP and hopefully report back. _________________ Cheers,

I use SmartFTP as well. It's a pretty good tool. I can highly recommend it. |
