You must have heard me raving about how fantastic Zenwalk 2.01 is, but v2.1 is out. The distro is fantastic and the user community is great. Package management is super-easy and now includes dependency checking.

There is the claim that it will detect nearly 100% of graphics card drivers and monitor frequencies. If I can get my ATI Radeon card working properly in Linux without having to patch drivers and fiddle with xorgconfig, that has to be something to shout about! 
Oh, and it comes with kernel 2.6.14.4....  . Pity, I don't have the liberty to download it just now, so, hopefully LXF will feature it on the DVD! |
