I have a Samsung E700 mobile phone (with USB data cable) and need to connect to the Internet using gprs on a Linux live edition such as Knoppix. The reason I am using a live version of Linux is that the computers at work are all windows based and the only way I can access Linux is by booting to a CD. I am unable to install anything on the computers, as I don’t have admin rights. Is there a way I can setup my mobile phone to access the Internet with Knoppix without installing anything on the hardrive (I have a USB flash drive if this would help)?
If I am unable to do this with my Samsung E700 do you know of another mobile where I may be able to do this?
Thanks David |
