What's it with nelzie and Mr Saunders?

Postby ladi » Thu Nov 17, 2005 8:38 am

They seem to be at each other's throats all the time. I suspect Mr S simply goes round the boards looking for nelzie's posts, so he can have a pop at him! Or perhaps it's the other way round!

I think you site admins owe us an explanation! :-)

You've discovered our secret plan! As site admins, we generate as many flame wars as possible, so that people keep coming back to see more...

(Actually, I don't think Nelz and I have ever had a flame war. We're like one big, happy family at Team LXF. That is, until someone disses Mario Kart...)

More importantly, why has Mike changed his icon? My Nintendo skills aren't so l33t as his, but I think his change is symbolic: it looks like he's chosen Nate the bear from Animal Crossing, and we all know that he got his name because bears like to sleep (hiberNATE, see?). Is Mike planning to leave us? We deserve to know!

At least the bear's an improvement on the flower... that always reminded me of "Little Weed" from the Flowerpot Men (Yes, I'm that old :))

I can't remember seeing anyone with "Competent" yet - and shouldn't "Site Admin" be way below "Above Average" anyway?

It's cyclical. Just like Homer Simpson said, every time you learn something new, something old gets pushed out of your head. So once you've made 1,000,000 posts you'll have forgotten everything about Linux and have to start again!

Site Admins can edit the posts of others. You don't have to be 'Above Average' to look it, just a good enough cheat :)
