How does Linus pronounce his own name?

Postby Alex01UK » Fri Dec 12, 2014 7:24 pm

That is how Linux is pronounced. The same way as Linus pronounces his own name. Has anybody got his no? I'll give him a ring and ask him personally. ;)

I always pornounce it: ''Lynne Ucks'', but each to his own.......

I'm surprised this thread hasn't produced a response from Ram.

And for anybody reading the paper magazine, and not online at that moment in time, from The Master indeed.
In English, it's ''Lie Nuss'' Lie as in not tell the truth, Nuss as an Pussycat, for his name
& Lynne Ucks for the OS, always, pornounced Lynne as in Drawing Pin & OS as is Oscar Whatever language.
