I want to archive my old emails so that they are still accessible to my email client but do not clutter up my PC. But I still want my recent emails available when offline. So some sort of cloud storage would be good. But a full-blown cloud service might cut me off from recent stuff when I am offline.
For similar reasons I don't want to be too dependent on a proprietary storage format, but something that the average mail client can navigate happily.
Currently using Evolution and storing everything locally. Can I, er, evolve archive storage onto the cloud or would I be better finding a more modern app?
