Can anybody remeber the series of articles and the tool that was used in Linux Format from about the year 2000 (long time ago!).
In the articles the guy created his own language. But I can't remeber the tool he used to do it. It might have been called something like Sky. Each month he added more keywords to the language like for loops etc and showed how to implement their grammer with this tool.

Hi!
The language was "SKYLang", and the tutorial was written by Paul Hudson, probably around 2004 -- so it's too early for the online Archives, but maybe it exists somewhere else.

I always wished the archives went back to issue 1. This is a good example of why. Now it's been mentioned, I'd like to read it... |

I suppose I could try and extract the text if that would not tread on anyone's toes?? _________________ still looking for that door into summer |
