Is there any way to permanently disable that awful "stay on page" popup that sometimes launches when you close a tab / navigate elsewhere?
Using Firefox 14.0.1 atm.

Try no-script add-on which should stop this happening. You may need to add trusted sites to its whitelist, or whatever it's called, but it is probably worth it. _________________ Ubuntu 10.04 user, and loving it! |

I think no-script is a bit too pre-emptive for me. I'm after something that works more like adblock - where it offers you the block option when it bumps into it, so you never have to again, rather than it blocks for you and then you find out your pages don't load properly and have to sort whitelists.
