Finding corrupted jpg files

Postby heiowge » Thu Jun 14, 2012 9:58 am

I was told that I have one or two corrupt jpg files in a directory. I was told (in another place) that jpeginfo could find the problem using this code:

Code: Select all
find . -name "*jpg" -exec jpeginfo -c {} \; | grep -E "WARNING|ERROR"

No hits. Is the program rubbish or being too specific? Any help?

Are the files names with .jpg or .JPG extensions? Using -iname instead of -name will find both.
