I just got very confused by a posting while I was reading other threads.
It appeared to have been posted in the future.
At 10:57, the forum time was given as 11:07
Is this a long-term feature? _________________ Derek |

If you're asking if the time on the forum is about 12 minutes fast, then yes it is. Not the greatest of disasters. I've occasionally seen the same on other sites, presumably they don't use NNTP or anything similar to keep time correct. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

Considering that mst of the information on Usenet is wildly inaccurate, I think not using NNTP is wise. However, running an NTP client would not be such a bad idea _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |
