Can anyone help? I need a driver for the Lexmark X4650 printer. I have the disc but no Linux driver on it.

Your exact model is not listed on the OpenPrinting website. This is the nearest match, but, unsurprisingly, it is not good news. Unsurprising, because I'm afraid as far as Linux is concerned, Lexmark is a vast desert with very few watering holes.

Your only and best hope, as far as I know, is to have a look on the OpenPrinting forum linked to from that page.

I went to the lexmark site and entered x4650 in the search and found these links;

For RPM distros.

For deb distros.

Both these are 32 bit drivers.[/url]
