Hi, my cousin has just ordered the 'Pinnacle Dazzle DVD Recorder' online and has asked me if he'll be able to get it to work on Ubuntu 10.10. I've seen various forum posts from 2007 that say the new kernals should support DVC101 which will make this hardware compatible.
The hardware is shipped with a Windows DVD so my questions are:
1) Will i be able to install the software using Wine?
2) Is there an alternative Linux based software program that will do the same job as the shipped DVD (this would be my preferred option)?

You can try the software with Wine but there are no guarantees.
Try DeVeDe for authoring DVDs. |
