Well, yes it is mentioned in the Distrowatch section of the magazine, but it's not on the cover disc, which is what the OP is asking for. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

I was sufficiently interested after reading the Distrowatch column to give Bodhi Linux a go.
I installed it on my old laptop. It works OK. A few things are a bit flaky, but it has a good look and once you get your head around how Enlightenment works it's quite fun to use. |

Hi!
I'd really like to include it, as it's clearly a rising star in the distro world. When I have some spare time I'll give it a look, but in the meantime: does it include any problematic software or codecs, such as libdvdcss?
Because Linux Format is distributed in many countries around the world, we need to avoid such software. Some distros steer clear of such stuff in the main release ISO (eg Ubuntu and Fedora), while others (like Mint) make "universal" versions that anyone can use, free of potential legal concerns.
So that's the big thing holding me back at the mo.

Nope. We make such software easily available on our software website, but no such things are included by default on the Bodhi ISO image.
Thanks for the interest!

Try the as-it-happens alerts. It's amazing how quickly things are picked up, they have some very busy spiders. _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |

Great, thanks for letting me know Jeff.
We sent issue 147 to the printers a few days ago, so I'll see if there's any space on 148 for Bodhi. Whatever the case, it'll definitely be on an upcoming disc!
