For Graham Morrison...
Hi Graham...
A simple question.
Does this Arduino Board show up as USBtty0 or a(n) USB HID in its own right?
Judging by your write up I am assuming USBtty0.
If it is a(n) USB HID using its "custom" USB to "serial" interface then I will have to get one to experiment.
If however it is USBtty0 then there is no need for me to update any/all code given away on here.
TIA... _________________ 73...

Hi Bazza,
The Uno seems to use the Abstract Control Model, which means it appears as: on the system...
All the best,

Hi Graham...
Thanks for the info...
Can I swear?
B***ocks.
It looks as though I will have to get one and update all the code on here.
Although this......

......should work. ;o)
Again thanks for the info. _________________ 73...

Ok I'm 6 months late, but Yes Sir, I just received my Arduino Uno board this week, and the serial port showing in the Arduino IDE software does in fact show /dev/ttyACM0. |
