The server/client runs on Linux and the code, hosted by Sourceforge, is released under the GPL. Some Linux users in the colonies and indeed even in the rest of the world, might be interested in a stats based baseball simulator.
Such a post might have been better in Announcements, in fact I can think of all sorts of ways kamrananvaar's post could be improved, but it fails the "for profit" element of spam posting, so no, it isn't spam.
