GWBasic? Pah. Real coders used GFA BASIC!
(Actually I've got no idea if they competed in any way. I just remember having GFA BASIC on my Atari ST, before I accidentally melted it.)

I used STOS on my Atari, believe I also bought one of the G* Basics meantioned - Books still in the bottom of my wardrobe.
I still have an ST up in the loft

Real coders use Bywater Basic!
(And yes I do use it in the AMIGA, I am a sad sod.)

Not bad luck, just not a follower of fashion, Spectrum, Commodore, Windows...
Back to the books - GFA Basic System 2, along with First Basic.
