Hi all,
Upgraded to above recently with Intel core 2 quad cpu.
The onboard graphics via a HDMI don't seem to work. Am using my Nvidia pci card still but no video via HDMI cable. Tried new install using latest Mint/Ubuntu x64 dual boot, but no joy, no video during bios boot except small window top left screen showing anologue/digital info after that nothing.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Presume it's something to do with "chipset" drivers???

If you're getting no output from the BIOS, it's not a driver problem. Try connecting a monitor to the VGA/DVI port, there may be a BIOS setting to send output to VGA, HDMI or both _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |
