Looking into my crystal ball a bit here but anyway.
I have a Asus M4A89TD PRO.
If I got two Sapphire HD5770 would these
A) work with linux
b) Allow me to run three or four screens?
I currently have two screens running from a GeForce GTS 250
could I c) just get another GeForce GTS 250? Does it matter about manufacture? The one I have doesn't seem to be made any more.

Yes, it does matter: Asus explicitly states in their manual that you'd need 2 equal videocards for SLI to work. However, I was unable to find the Sapphire manual, as they apparently don't have one on their site, only for buyers... So I can't tell you if you could indeed have 4 working screens attached. RTFM thus |

I shall hunt down the manuals then and have some nice bed time reading... _________________ For certain you have to be lost to find the places that can't be found. Elseways, everyone would know where it was |
