| I have a compaq presario r4000 64bit Athlon 1G mem 100G hdd running Suse 9.3. I have various problems but the most interesting is the clock runs at double speed. Anyone know a cure for my run away time. |

when you say clock, you mean as in time.
If so I had this same problem, when i first installed Gentoo on my system, it was really wierd and the only way i could solve it was to get ntpd running to update it (i think it was ntpd) and then cron job it every hour.
When I reinstalled SuSE on my system the problem seemed to go away, so i never really found the answer.
It has also happened to me in windows when i started that up once. |
