Why does 'VTCL' Visual Tcl/Tk Programming not work as installed by YAST in SUSE 11.1? It always ran in earlier versions, wil work loaded into Sabayon 4.1 with no fuss at all.
The problem appears to be 'TKCON' which throws up an error message about version number.
I would apprciate some help.

Hello KenBook
I have also been confronted to the lack of support from the VisualTcl team . They seem to ignore users messages and requests.
However, I have discovered another similar tool that is gaining strong momentum among the Tcl/Tk community. It is called PureTkGUI, you can download it from SourceForge. The author seems motivated as he has promised a lot of cool features. It is not there *yet* but it already allows Tcl/Tk GUIs construction with support for all common widgets (Tk / Ttk / IWidgets / Tix / Bwidgets) and best of all you can add your own widgets if you wish (e.g. mega widgets) or other widget libraries thanks to configuration files.
The concepts this guy has introduced into this tool are pretty handy.
