Is anybody else experiencing odd things going on with the "read icon", I've read all the forums and yet it is still indicating that are unread, this has been going on all day.
Using Jaunty and Firefox!
It's also displaying this thread as unread too _________________ still looking for that door into summer |

| No problem using openSUSE and KDE. Perhaps Mike has installed a program to make something different go wrong in each member's browser. |

| Also using Jaunty & FF... no issues recently, though I experienced the very problem you're describing when this website first came online (prob cuz of syncing issues between .co.uk & .com?). |

I'm getting strange issues with the log-on at the bottom of the main forum index. If I use that to log on then it doesn't work. No errors or anything, I'm just not logged on. 2nd attempt does log me on, but all forums are marked as read, even though there are some I haven't looked at.
No problems using the regular log-on page.
Occurs both at work (Firefox 3.5 on XP) and at home (Firefox 3.0 on Ubuntu Jaunty), so seems to be an issue with the site. _________________ Bomb #20: "Let there be light" |

Well I deleted all the cookies for LXF and the site now seems to be working correctly again _________________ still looking for that door into summer |

Well I'm having the problem the other way 'round. The forum was displaying a heap of unread icons on the main page and after I had read two sections all sections were marked read. Windows XP + FF3.5.2 @ work. |

Ollie, I've found the same but at both home and work (xp). I think it is more of a how long you leave the page open.. i.e. read a couple of threads, refresh, appears to be ok, some topics still marked unread. Then on the other hand, read a couple of threads, do some work, come back to firefox, refresh and all marked read. _________________

I don't use Windows XP at home much (only one VirtualBox VM), my laptop has Ubuntu 9.04 x86_64 + Vista Home Premium and I don't tend to use Vista for web surfing that much. I can't replicate the error under Vista + FF3.5.2 on my laptop It seems to be only Windows XP + FF3.5.2 because it only started after upgrading to FF3.5.2. |

I have this problem as well. I think this is related to phpBB itself since I've seen that on other such forums as well. Maybe time to upgrade the forum? |
