There is one live DVD that lets you choose KDE or Gnome when booting and has bucket loads of applications - SuSE Linux 9.3 Live Evaluation. Very good for testing hardware. :lol: :lol: :wink:

Well obviously a DVD will hold that much, if you use dual layer or dual side you can get 9GB uncompressed on it. The challenge is getting it all on a CD.
The SUSE 9.3LE DVD happens to be 4.2GB (according to my server). My entire Ubuntu install with all the extras I install is smaller than that :)

And is gnome worth having? ;-)
