Hey, anyone got the foggiest idea why my screen freezes, and goes dotty like this, everytime I try to load Adobe After Effects?

Vi$ta doesn't belong on a Linux forum. Try the 'Other OS' section if you really want to Besides, asking twice in the same place only 1 min later isn't considered 'polite' (but I'll forgive you for that ) |

My bad, I set the post up like 5 hours ago, but had to go afk before pushing Submit. Came back, pushed Submit, had to relog, A blank posting page came up, I hit back in hope that the text is still there, it was, so i pushed submit again.

I tried to post on this last night (see my post in "This Website").
How much RAM do you have on the system? Do you have a good (less than 12-months old) graphics card? Is Virtual Memory on a separate hard drive, or partition at the very least? Has the same been done with Adobe's Scratch File location? How many "effects" are being loaded by default into the Library? |
