Microsoft bug silence policy

Postby Lancer » Tue Dec 09, 2008 9:26 pm

I'm trying to find an article on this one... it's fairly old news.

I know that some time back (a year a go, or more) Microsoft made it their official policy not to announce new bugs until they are fixed.

...anyone got links to articles around this announcement?

Howdy,

No, but it sounds like classic MS ... (grin)

I guess you would have tryed E. Raymonds site. It guess it would be the type of thing he'd have stored away somewhere there.
