one of the blokes at work had a silver wedding anniversary last month and his 50th this month, phew i wouldn't like to be a present buyer in their house Very Happy

On Sunday, it'll be exactly one year since I stopped smoking. To celebrate the consequent rapid erosion of my untarred and unprotected wisdom teeth, I had them all removed last Saturday.

I've never heard of anyone's teeth rotting because they stopped smoking - you must have been a really heavy smoker to kill off all the bacteria in your mouth Shocked

Might not be so far fetched. People who quit smoking often get mouth ulcers for the first few weeks (I had a couple). Apparently this is because all the crap in smoke 'sterilises' your mouth, so when you kick the habit, your mouth becomes a much more fertile environment...
