Yes, since then I've added windows, buttons, a file selector and a clock...
Oh woe, I don't want to throw it all away. But I'll never get a 1.0 release out the door if I keep faffing around with the PS/2 mouse driver...
I hope the code is clean and simple, as someone on the OSDev forums was recommending it as a study guide!

Oh wow! It's eye-strainingly impressive.
Does that background make anyone else's monitor look all shimmery? _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

Then put a mini-trampoline between your head and the table. You don't damage the table and your head bounces back effortlessly |

I get the shimmer thing. How did he do that? It hearkens back to my Atari 800 days. |

Are you folks using CRT monitors? It looks fine (well, ugly, but without any weird effects) here on my LCD screens.
Does this produce a similar effect?

Nope, it's a flat panel LCD and yes, that image's background causes it too.
Hmm, interesting, I just dragged the image onto my other monitor and it doesn't shimmer there. The only difference between the two is that one is size, one is 18", the other 17", but both a re displaying 1280x1024 @60Hz.
Hmm, just checked in Nvidia settings and it turns out they are not both running at 60Hz, only the 17" one is...
Hah! KDE Display reckons they're running at 50Hz
Well, I'm not going to mess around with it now, that will have to wait for the weekend. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

Also flat-panel on Dell notebook. Yep. I, too, get the flick on the other image.
Unlike Pokemon, though, I don't picture it causing any seizures. |

Any chance the rss feeds and wiki block sit below the main menu? _________________ I think, therefore I compile |
