I told you the sponger would want the book SC! He's shameless (hmm reminds me of another thread).
Really 1sf (troll), Mike means the "MANDRIVA || DIE" part of your sig, or are you being deliberately thick? I don't know what happens if you pipe something twice, but I expect it ought to get there in half the time. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

Erm, that a Boolean OR, not a pipepipe Rhakios - it means MANDRIVA or DIE. Quick, someone nick 1sf (troll)'s copy of Mandriva _________________ "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." (Albert Einstein) |

Wouldn't a native of Bool be a Boolan or Boolian? _________________ "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." (Albert Einstein) |

Not being from the planet Bool, I did not want to contradict whatever they might choose to call themselves. Perhaps it's even planet Boole, I just don't know
[Oh dear, I now forsee a thread in which it is debated whether Boole should be pronounced to rhyme with pool, or goolie ] _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

pool obviosly, yes i meant "or" as in | Code: | | open(MANDRIVA, "mandriva") || die "cannot open $!\n"; |
so i suppose i could have wrote MANDRIVA || die but i didn't, i thought i might be having another sig edited for using pop lyrics

I think it may be along the lines of 'ball', as in ball+e+an. Now you never know, someone may have been hanging out for that. But an even more interesting question would be, why ... A trick question though.

Boole could never rhyme with goolie, although Boolie could
But if you're referring to the pronunciation of the oo, they pronounce them the same in pool and goolie round here _________________ "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." (Albert Einstein) |

I think you are forgetting our Continental European friends, who often pronounce the "e" on the end of words.

Well, at least with a die, you would have a 1 in 6 chance of getting the result you were aiming for. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

Well done on losing 6 lbs, you'll find you don't lose stones if you sew up the holes in your pockets.
Or did you lose your other two stones? In which case, you should have been wearing tighter underpants. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |
